Josiah is off all of his IVs, isn't taking any medications, and is basically just sleeping and eating in the ICU. The nurses say the last thing that has to happen for him to be able to leave with us is he has to begin gaining weight. They say he should weigh "dos kilos y pico" before leaving. Not sure exactly what they mean by "pico" but I've come up with a hopefull interpretation. In order to track how his weight is doing I am entering his daily weight numbers into Excel and generating a set of graphs to see how he's doing. Today he stabelised a little, here's hoping tomorrow we'll see a gain.
